Dear Friends,

When I did my first half marathon ten years ago, I thought it would be a one time thing. Once I saw how much it raised the spirits of the amazing kids of Chai Lifeline, including my own daughter Emma, I was hooked. I've come to love running, mostly because of how much it helps the kids.

But I'm just a small part of the team. Chai Lifeline does so much for kids fighting serious illnesses as well as their families. Chai Lifeline runs camps, sponsors wish trips, visits kids stuck in hospitals and at home, and so much more. Amazingly, Chai Lifeline does all of this at no charge to those it serves. It instead relies on donations.

That's why I run. I would love for each and every one of you to join me on the streets of Miami and do 13.1 miles on February 2nd. If that's not your thing, though, I humbly ask that you donate to help this amazing cause. As you can see, I have set a pretty audacious goal for myself this year--$36,000!--so every additional penny counts. I ask that you give whatever you can
