Hi! My name is efrat Kamenetsky. As many of you know, there is nothing about me that would make you think I can run.. in fact, quite the opposite. But if I have learned anything from Chai Lifeline it’s that it does not matter what other people can and think I should do whatever I should set my mind to. So I have decided to run, well wheel a full marathon for them. I was born with spina bifida which results in me being in a wheelchair and not being able to walk. From a young age, chai lifeline was there for me and my family whenever we needed, whether the favor was big or small. Camp Simcha special became my home away from home, and throughout my years there, it shaped me into who I am today. There I learned to be unapologetically myself and built a community of support and love. Now, it is finally my turn to give back to this incredible organization. Let’s expand the love and support of chai lifeline one wheel at a time! Please help push me toward the finish line and help hit my goal of fundraising. So children, and families like me, can know they aren’t alone.
