In Loving memory of Yoseph Chaim Z'L

Myriam Encaoua
Hi there,
Thanks for visiting my page!
My name is Myriam Encaoua, and I’m a professional photographer. When I have the opportunity, I love to spend my summers at Camp Simcha as a camp photographer. This year, I had the privilege of volunteering at ‘Tour De Simcha,’ a cycling event where I met a team of devoted people whose goal was to make a difference in the lives of children fighting terminal illnesses. These riders raised thousands of dollars to support Chai Lifeline. My heart was so full as I watched each rider finish their ride with tremendous emotion and devotion.
There was a specific rider who particularly struck a chord with me. She concluded her ride by saying, “this ride is Liullei Nishmat so and so.” It was beautiful to see the mindfulness she had as she accomplished her ride in memory of a loved one. At that moment, I decided that I want to add more intention to my Chai Lifeline run. For this reason, I will be dedicating my run in memory of my friend’s little brother, Yoseph Chaim z”l, who passed away at 7 months old from SIDS. May his Neshama have an Aliyah.
The money that you and I donate will go to Chai Lifeline, an organization that provides year-round emotional, social and financial support for more than 5,800 children and their families. Chai Lifeline’s programs and activities can change people’s lives, returning hope and happiness to families affected by life-threatening illness. Additionally, Camp Simcha and Camp Simcha Special offer nearly 500 kids a chance to feel like a kid again, in a safe and loving environment.
Every dollar you give is helping children and their families live life to its full potential, even in the face of serious illness.
If you are unable to donate, I ask that you please do a small mitzvah (good deed) in the coming weeks in honour of Yoseph Chaim’s blessed memory.
Sincerely,
Myriam Encaoua
