This January, I will be running in the Miami Marathon/Half-Marathon as part of Team Lifeline to benefit children with cancer, disabilities, and other serious medical conditions. Every dollar I raise and every mile I run will benefit Chai Lifeline, an international children’s health support network that provides critical year-round programs and services to nearly 6,000 families confronting pediatric illness.

While running all those miles will be challenging, I am excited to help raise awareness and funds for such an important and worthy cause.

Running for the kids of Camp Simcha means a lot to me. As a staff member for the last two years as a videographer, I've been so fortunate to capture the moments that these children watch all year long. It's a magical place. You don’t know the feeling or understand how it’s magic works unless you get to experience it yourself. And if you get to, your lucky to and every moment is worth cherishing over and over. The head staff, the campers, the hard working counselors that are literally melachim who give it their all and more to their campers, the specialties who run each and every workshop in which the campers leave with beautiful projects that remind them of camp. The ropes course girls who are just not human and carry girls who can’t climb, up to the zip line. The lifeguards, the waitresses….

Everyone is unique and has something that makes them special. Each camper I’ve watched this summer has a tremendous amount of emunah and positivity. Yes there are hard days in camp, but when you remember that camp is only so short (10 days!) you need to live in the moment.
The sheer joy and happiness that runs through the entire camp. You feel it inside you. It’s an incredibly cozy and warm feeling.
This camp is a special place. The people here, the energy, the message of it all. 💕💕
