This January, I will be running in the Miami Marathon/Half-Marathon as part of Team Lifeline to benefit children with cancer, disabilities, and other serious medical conditions. Every dollar I raise and every mile I run will benefit Chai Lifeline, an international children’s health support network that provides critical year-round programs and services to nearly 6,000 families confronting pediatric illness.
Adiel, our youngest, has a diagnosis of Noonan’s Syndrome and has been a recipient of Chai Lifeline’s care since he was born. They have provided an incredible amount of support for us and our two older children. From a mountain of toys appearing at our door, to inviting our children on the week-long adventure of Camp Simcha Without Borders, Chai Lifeline has been there for our family. Whenever we need an additional service, all we need to do is ask, and it is provided for us. We have experienced first-hand the amazing work of this organization and how they have provided help, encouragement, guidance, and fun over the past two years. Now, it is our turn to give back.
While running all those miles will be challenging, I am excited to help raise awareness and funds for such an important and worthy cause.
My goal is to raise $5,000, but I need your help. Every donation is 100% tax deductible. Please join me in supporting this important organization by contributing to my personal runner page.
Great cause, Yonah! Just remember you can’t just run from all of life’s problems.
And don’t even think about trying to confuse me by not sounding the Shofar before Rosh Hashana. That’s played out.
