Dear Family and Friends,
IYH I am planning on rolling in the Miami Half Marathon this year for Chai Lifeline for my 14th year. This year I am dedicating my run/roll in the memory of a family member, Shmuel Simcha Ben Menachem Mendel, Simcha Mendlowitz, who sadly passed away the day after Tisha B'av at the age of 57 after a six year bout with cancer. Simcha was a wonderful human being. He personified the possuk in Pirkei Avos -Emor Me'at V'aseh Harbei, say a little and do a lot. Simcha lived his life in an understated way, though he had many friends from all different walks of life. No matter your age, gender, or social status people were drawn to him, & sought him out for advice on relationships, business dealings, or any other life circumstance. Simcha always made time for those in need.
Simcha was the ultimate family man. He always came home early to help out with his children when they were younger, and more recently to spend quality time with his wife Debby. Simcha was known in
the business world as a “straight shooter” and his word was worth its weight in gold. There are so many things to say about this most honorable man. In the last 6 years of his life, Simcha faced his difficult times with grace, class and tremendous Emunah in Hashem. He even kept up his Daf Yomi Shiur with his Chaburah. His Petirah left a tremendous void to his loving family and many close friends, but a beautiful legacy which we can all learn and grow from.
Please join together with me as we raise funds for the outstanding organization of Chai Lifeline and this should serve as a merit for the great Neshama of Shmuel Simcha Ben Menachem Mendel, in honoring Simcha's memory. Yehi Zichro Baruch. If mailing a check is more convenient for you then giving a donation online, you can make it out to Chai Lifeline and then mail it to 10714 Meadowhill Road, Silver Spring MD 20901. On behalf of Chai Lifeline, thank you very much!

Best - Shua
