Henry & I are taking on a challenge that’s close to our heart—completing a 1/2 marathon in support of Chai Lifeline, an incredible organization that provides critical support to thousands of seriously ill children and their families.
Three years ago our son got involved in this amazing organization helping sick children. He was a Big Brother for a couple of young, sick children and I watched as I saw how he changed into a truly amazing, empathetic, caring young man before my eyes. By helping others he grew so much. Then 2 years ago he ran as part of the Chai Lifeline LA team in the Miami Marathon to raise money to help these children go away to summer camp for two weeks so they could experience a normal summer. Last summer he worked as a counselor at the camp and again he got so much out of the experience. Chai Lifeline has shaped who he is in so many ways, because when we give to others we often end up receiving more than we give. I have attached a video link below so you can see the difference Chai Lifeline can make in the life of a sick child and their family. This year we have decided to participate in the Chai Lifeline Miami Marathon since we believe this is such a worthy cause. please consider partnering with us and donating to our page so we can reach our goal of raising $25,000.
Every day, these kids show immense courage and resilience. Inspired by their strength, I've set a goal to raise $25,000 to help continue the vital services Chai Lifeline offers, like case management, counseling, meal deliveries, financial aid, their renowned medically-supervised Simcha summer camps, and so much more.
I need your help to make this possible.
Please donate to my campaign today and I hope you will give generously in support of these Chai Lifeline warriors fighting the greatest battle of their lives.
