Team Esti is coming together for the Miami Marathon and Half Marathon to spread an impactful message of inspiration, laughter, and hope, in memory of our beloved Esti Moskowitz, a”h.
Esti was a fun kid. She was full of joy and embodied a true Simchas Hachaim that touched everyone around her. Her love for fun and her vibrant spirit is something we will never forget. While training for a half marathon or marathon may seem daunting, bringing joy to the journey is a key part of honoring Esti’s memory. Her playful energy guides us to make this experience one of celebration and connection. From dancing at the Pasta Party to cheering each other on and crossing the finish line together, a beaming smile is a crucial part of the Team Esti spirit.
Kindness is not only a characteristic Esti was known and loved for, being a kind person is something she was proud of and strived for. Esti always put other people before herself. Her heart of gold never went unnoticed, and it made an impression on everyone Esti came in contact with. This Middah of kindness was especially evident whenever Esti would receive a gift, or someone would do the simplest thing for her; Esti was always so appreciative and grateful for everything.
Esti truly valued her friends and family. There is nothing Esti loved more than spending time with the people that were important to her. This fitting tribute to Esti’s legacy will enable people who loved Esti and were impacted by her exemplary Midos and concern for others, to rally together as part of Team Esti, and honor the memory of our beautiful “Esti the Besty”.
Everyone who knew Esti remembers her as the girl with the smile that could light up any room. By joining Team Esti and raising vital funds for Chai Lifeline's critical services, you’re not just supporting children like Esti—you’re carrying forward her radiant spirit. Together, we can bring light, hope, and strength to thousands of children facing the greatest battles of their lives, ensuring Esti's legacy of joy continues to inspire and uplift.
Let’s run, smile, and make a lasting impact. Debra
