In January of 2024, I will be running in the Miami Half-Marathon for the second time as part of Team Lifeline to benefit children with cancer, disabilities, and other serious medical conditions. This marathon will be especially meaningful to me this year because not only will I be running for Chai Lifeline, but I will also be running in honor of my cousins, Chemek and Noam Katri, who, among countless others, are currently fighting and participating in the IDF. After a brutal attack that killed many civilians in the settlement of Ohad and forced my cousins to relocate, Chemek and Noam stepped up to join the IDF effort and protect their country.
Every dollar I raise and every mile I run will still benefit Chai Lifeline, an international children’s health support network, but it will also be dedicated in honor of my cousins and the hundreds of soldiers who are currently fighting to keep their families, friends, and loved ones safe.
I have always felt passionate about raising funds for such a meaningful cause for the children of Chai Lifeline, and now I can take this cause one step further by simultaneously dedicating the funds in honor of the brave soldiers in the IDF who are either fighting on the front line or are involved in some other way.
My goal is to raise $7,500, but I need your help. Every donation is 100% tax deductible. Please join me in supporting this important organization by contributing to my personal runner page.
