This January, I will be running in the Miami Half-Marathon as part of Team Lifeline to benefit children with cancer, disabilities, and other serious medical conditions. Every dollar I raise and every mile I run will benefit Chai Lifeline, an international children’s health support network that provides critical year-round programs and services to nearly 6,000 families confronting pediatric illness.
Last summer in Camp Sternberg I had the beautiful zechus to have a personal connection with Liel Namdar who was suddenly taken from us in a devastating car crash. Liel embodied a Neshama which was soulful, selfless and served God with her whole heart. Just by doing the right thing with intentions to make people smile and feel good about themselves, Liel had the power to influence people. She didn't push anything on anyone and in her 15 years of life, she inspired thousands of people. Liel always included everyone, brought people closer to truth and strongly believed in the torah herself and truly represented what every Jew works towards. In her Zechus we will run with purpose and passion and show everyone what Liel brought into this world and the impact she made on me, and thousands of others no matter how close you were to her.
My goal is to raise $5,000, but I need your help. Every dollar helps us to reach our goal sooner. Please join me in supporting this important organization by contributing to my personal runner's page.
