There is no place in the world like Camp Simcha! As a nurse in Camp Simcha Special, I witnessed the selfless staff enable children with chronic challenges to experience fun and excitement they can find nowhere else. A camper on a vent wanted to experience zip lining... CSS made it happen! She also wanted to go swimming! No problem, special floating devices were ordered to keep her equipment dry! The wheelchair bound campers asked for wheelchair accessible golf carts... Camp Simcha got it!
There is simply no place like Camp Simcha!
That is why I am joining Team Lifeline in Miami's Half Marathon; to support Camp Simcha and the entirety of Chai Lifeline.
Miami, Team Infirmary with Team Lifeline are coming for you!
The Tzedaka raised should be a Zechus for איתמר צבי בן דבורה אסתר to have a Refuah Shleima and to be able to continue his exceptional work Ad Meah V’esrim in good health!
This January, I will be running in the Miami Marathon/Half-Marathon as part of Team Lifeline to benefit children with cancer, disabilities, and other serious medical conditions. Every dollar I raise and every mile I run will benefit Chai Lifeline, an international children’s health support network that provides critical year-round programs and services to nearly 6,000 families confronting pediatric illness.
While running all those miles will be challenging, I am excited to help raise awareness and funds for such an important and worthy cause.
My goal is to raise $5,000, but I need your help. Every donation is 100% tax deductible. Please join me in supporting this important organization by contributing to my personal runner page.
