Once again, in January I will be running in the Miami Half-Marathon as part of Team Lifeline. I'm running in memory of my son Chase's friend Sophie Spangenthal who passed away from cancer a few years ago. As many of you know Chai Lifeline provides emotional, social and financial support to children and families facing pediatric illnesses. They were a tremendous resource for our friends the Spangenthals during Sophie's battle and I want to do what I can so they can continue to help others in the same way.
Every dollar I raise and every mile I run will benefit Chai Lifeline, an international children’s health support network that provides critical year-round programs and services to nearly 6,000 families confronting pediatric illness.
While running all those miles and training for all of those hours will be challenging, I am excited to help raise awareness and funds for such an important and worthy cause.
My goal is to raise $10,000 and I need your help. Every donation is 100% tax deductible. Please join me in supporting this important organization by contributing to my runner page.
By donating, you will be making a meaningful impact in the lives of families facing pediatric illnesses.
